Some important things you need to know!
What’s on the website?
The Armer Family History website is organized in to the following sections:
Descendant Reports – lists the descendants of a particular individual including names, birth dates and places, death dates and places and marriage dates and places where known. We have included Descendant Reports for each ARMER family line included on the ARMER Family History website.
Person Notes – individual facts gathered from a variety of sources that includes newspaper mentions (weddings, obituaries, etc.) and other random information that will help give a sense of who a person is or was.
Gallery – photos of Armers and their relations.
The Big List – a list of all the ARMERS currently in our ever-expanding database. See if your ARMER is listed here and let us know either way.
Additional sections will undoubtedly be added over time.
How can you help?
You can help this website be successful in many different ways:
1) Use the contact form to let us know any mistakes (typos, missing info, incorrect info, etc) you notice so we can make the necessary corrections.
2) Use the contact form to email us photos of yourself and other family members with the Name and approximate date taken included in the file name.
3) Use the contact form to let us know if you have had your DNA tested with either Family Tree DNA or Ancestry.com. I’ve entered mine (Barry ARMER) and so far the only ARMER matches are my my daughter Emma and my nephew Cory.
Are all the ARMERs listed on this site related?
Not necessarily. Our goal is to provide genealogical information on any ARMER line we can, regardless of if any relationship between each line is proven. We hope to establish additional family connections with the help of those visiting the site via accumulation of additional information and participation in DNA submission to Ancestry DNA.
